i have a new revelation today.
i think we have all forgotten why we actually dance.
for me,
it started out when i was in secondary one,
i joined the school contemp dance club cos if no more ppl join they wld have to close down-.-
i joined partly cos of my sister.
i was in choir during pri sch days luh.
NERD.
thats where i found love.
taught by ms chua,
i got to know more about jazz, ballet, modern, and contemporary dance.
it was beautiful.
i stayed til late 3 times a week in sch for it, i nv complained about the aches and i often slept in class but i loved it.
i loved the way my life was cos dance made it so beautiful.

after i graduated from mf sec,
i went to yjc for 1 yr.
joined their indian dance club because i wanted to try smth new.
pulled meow in LOL she did taekwondo in sec sch u know!
DOPE.
hahaha..
indian dance was fun too, getting in touch with a vastly different style that i did before,
challenging,
but i loved it too.
i think my jc1 yr wasn't reali spent on studying that much.
mostly dancing too!
thats why we both actually flunked and had to retain
LOL.
many oops.
sorry man!

it was also at that point of time where farid ask me to join his hip hop dance crew,
TECHnIQUES.
i went into hip hop,
and thou we weren't all reali that great,
i enjoyed every moment of it.
dance.
it makes me feel so alive.
happy.
and losing doesn't matter.
because i love the people i dance with,
and i enjoy every nanoseconds that we were together.
i then pulled many of my other loves to join in this smth that took up quite a big part of my life already.
babyboy, alicia and pork.
slowly,
babyboy and alicia loved it. passion grew and we were happy together.
til things happen,
and yeap.

but i stil treasure the every happiness it gave me(:

then i found my way into FB.
this is family.
this is the place i found more lovely friends,
and the place where i realised alot of people love dance just as much.

somehow,
some things never stay the same.
why does some things sour out after a period of time?

conflicts here and there.
i became a angry person too long ago i didn't realise it was killing me.

today,
i took many many steps back and looked in all directions.
everyone is too angry to realise.
that all of this,
don't matter.
nothing is ever so big that things have to turn out bad.
we neglected the fact of being happy.
we forgot why we even got to know each other in the first place.
we got to know each other,
through this thing that we love.

dance.
dance brought us together.

we have forgotten....
that dance makes us happy.
it shouldn't even be the source of all these unhappiness
because we all pursue it because we love it
and it makes us feel alive when we are in it.
everything else,
doesn't matter.

on this very day,
i took a step back, and i've decided to let go.
now my heart feels,
so much lighter.
really.
it's all just back to dance,
and me.
and i'm learning to love it once again.
and be happy doing it.


i want to tell the people who care about me,
that i love all of u and i appreciate ur love for me.
